The menu is varied, offering a beautiful selection of fresh fish, grilled meats... Awards are very reasonable for the quality of the dishes and the idyllic location.

Finally after three visits we have found a great restaurant on Loutro This taverna is family run and serves simple Greek food really well The menu is typically Cretan but the food was superb We opted for Garlic bread and olives, pork, lamb served with fries and tomato washed down with a decent local wine ENSURE YOU MAKE A RESERVATION- all tables pre-booked and people turned away all evening and this was during a quiet time!

This restaurant is very good, and I think it's one of the few that is not directly on the beach, which is nice because it offers a different experience and gives a very nice view of the Loutro bay. The waiter is really professional ( he announced as soon as we arrived the meals that were not available anymore so that we weren't disappointed), the meat was really good and the watermelon is very sweet and fresh. Very nice place that I recommend !!!

we went there twice..both times was awesome..recomended 100%the 1st time we got beefs and pork steak both were amazing..the secind time i choosed a goat with potatoes i the oven...it was superior

Καταπληκτικό φαγητό, παραδοσιακό Σφακιανό φαγητό... Η φιλοξενία παραδοσιακή Κρητική και φυσικά μη και δε φάτε τα ψητά που θα σας πει!!

Nous avons mangé des grillades d agneau et des boulettes de viande avec des frites maison. Un régal et assiettes très copieuse !! Total pour 3 assiettes : 40 euros et le yahourt maison nous a été offert à la fin. Un délice....

Φαγαμε στου Στρατη προσφατα και ηταν ολα παρα πολυ ωραια και γευστικα! Το κρεας καλοψημενο και ευγευστο και τα συνοδευτικα ολα πολυ ωραια! Το προτεινουμε ανεπιφυλακτα!

We visited Stratis based on local recommendations. We started to go there when it was already dark, so finding the way included some detours, but it was worth it. The view over the harbour of and the meat is really nice there (big, professional barbecue), in particular as they grow it themselves. Don't miss the goat. The personnel is friendly and helpful and, of course, you find the typical Cretan starters...
