Fantastic taverna. On a busy road but noise not a problem. Fantastic food. Stuffed cabbage leaves were the best I've eaten in Greece and I've eaten quite a few ! Green bean salad with garlic was a revelation. Greek salad was good. Fried squid was tasty and the pork chop very good quality and fresh. Real chips were great. No frozen rubbish ! Waiter was very friendly and very helpful. This is a fantastic traditional taverna and I would definitely recommend.

Ci sono stata più volte durante la mia vacanza greca, vi consiglio di non perdervelo! La prima sera non sapendo bene cosa ordinare ci siamo fatti consigliare dal proprietario che ci ha cucinato una serie di portate tipiche. Vi consiglio i dolmades, involtini di cavolo buonissimi. I sapori sono squisiti, genuini ed il prezzo (secondo la mia esperienza) sempre sotto i 30 euro in due. Un vero ristorante greco e non una trappola per turisti come quelle che si possono trovare in centro. Provatelo!

Good meat and bread (pita and tzatziki), wonderful and really friendly atmosphere and owners, they always offer watermelon at the and of the dinner.Low price and good food, really recommend

I grew up at Ampavris and as far I can remember,every time my father would ask me to jump on his Vespa to go to Ampavris taverna my face would light up.The best atmosphere with true local friendly Greek people that are perfect examples of Greek hospitality,Amazing Greek traditional home made food, and the best plate to try?SNAILS yup snails in tomato sauce.

Steeds een hoogtepunt van de vakantie. Een bezoek aan Taverna Ampavris bezorgt je gegarandeerd een leuke avond. Mooi gelegen, heerlijk eten en vriendelijke bediening. Kortom een aanrader!!

Just leaving after a fortnight stay up the road at Ampavris Apartment...visited Ampavris Taverna 4 times and the food was Amazing...very good value for money aswell...5* quality

Consigliato assolutamente ,non facile da trovare ,a noi è stato indicato da amici.Cucina greca autentica ,specialità (tutte da provare) Manolis ai tavoli è disponibile e simpatico .In cucina la mamma prepara con cura.Il posto poi è una meraviglia:
