My wife and I have just spent two weeks in Monolithos on Santorini and had several meals in Captain Loizos. Every meal was superb and the service was excellent.All the staff were not only friendly but cared and the setting both inside the restaurant and on the beach side could not be bettered and is how Greece is imagined.We also had several nights just having a few drinks savouring the friendly atmosphere.From two people in Liverpool to a group of fine people in Monolithos....Thank you!!

Take the time to go out of your way via taxi to this place. The fish is the freshest ever, having been pulled out of the sea by Capt Loizos, which he then cooks for you after showing you what he has pulled out of the waters. We had the cod. Fantastic place. Rustic and welcoming. You will be very happy to experience this phenomenal fish place.

Vi bor alltid på Scorpios Beach og veien til Loizos er kort. Behagelig restaurant og god mat. Hvorfor stresse rundt for å finne noe som er 100 meter vekke? Alltid like hyggelig å komme tilbake. Ekstremt vennelige alle som arbeider der. Og en "liten" raki etter måltidet skjemmer ikke.
