The tavern of Giannis in Kyparisi is an experience that stays in the heart. A dreamy atmosphere, with wonderfully moving music that combines perfectly with the space and travels. The food is just perfect: flavours authentic, careful, carefully cooked. A place you go not just to eat, but to feel. It is definitely worth visiting again and again.

An absolute recommendation if you want to taste typical cuisine.Very friendly staff who speak excellent German. You also get daily recommendations that are not on the menu, suggested by the staff. The stuffed mushrooms and the es spinach were a great recommendation!The main course was a specialty of the restaurant! The toilets are very clean and friendly! The entire restaurant is very clean!

It's terrible, the place is incredible. The whole concert is unforgettable. You must definitely go. All the dishes were one and one. I will never forget the fried potatoes, I don't know how Yannis makes them but I've never seen them before. Good service and the girl is polite.

Thank you Gianni & wife for a delicious start of our holidays. We went here straight from the airport and can just confirm all the very good reviews. It is a must do and certainly a unique experience which should be part of a trip on the island. It is in the middle of a tiny village, just follow the good smell. Whenever we come back to Crete we will come here again. This place is definitely in our top 4 tavernas so far!

Ζεστό περιβάλλον, με πρωτότυπη φιλική εξυπηρέτηση...Το μενού παραδοσιακό κρητικό...(τρομερές πατάτες) και πολύ γευστικό κατά την γνώμη μου.... Άφθονο κρασί με επιλογές! Όσοι βαρεθήκατε τα ίδια είναι μια πολύ καλή επιλογή! Προσωπικά ενθουσιάστηκα.

When we started going to Kyparissi, I was absolutely tired and negative. Why are we goung so far away, just for a meal? Arriving there was also challenging, we had to search the tavern in the village. But whan we entered....OMG! It was an apokalypsis! This place reloaded Crete in my hard. Genuine cretan food, reminding mama's kitchen and with a concept of the same level. You eat like home, whatever the kitchen has. Of course food served us more than enough in choices and quantities.

Μια ταβέρνα από τα πολύ παλιά. Δίχως ρεύμα, μενού και δίχως όρια στο φαγητό και στο κρασί. Βάζεις μόνος σου από όποιο βαρέλι θέλεις και όσο θέλεις. Ακόμα και στο φαγητό σου φέρνει ότι έχει και δεν σταματάει να φέρνει στην τιμή των €15 ανά άτομο.
