Spent a week here in July, and both very pleased. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful, the room spotlessly clean and bedding changed regularly. Fantastic views from the balcony and pool, which is on the roof. Lots of steps within the apartments and town, so not recommended for those with mobility issues.

A very lucky find, particularly when you see the other options in the locality. It is a great base. Exceptionally comfy beds, everything you need - with no useless frills. The pool is deep, clean and very refreshing and you can watch the enormous vultures soaring around the cliffs behind. It must be the best place in the area to watch sunsets from.

Really enjoying our stay here. Nikos and his family are lovely and make you feel very much at home. There are only 15 apartments and there is a very relaxed feel. The small pool at the top of the hill is nice. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The breakfasts are nice - €5. Definitely recommend a visit.

This was our first time in Crete. My son & I stayed here for 7 nights. We had a wonderful time, perfect size room for us which was cleaned every 2 days by a lovely lady. Pool area was always clean and plenty of beds. (Nikos & Hellen) who own Elgoni made my son & I feel very welcome & we met lovely people who were holidaying there. Fantastic value for money accomadation . Good location (though the steps are a problem coming back after a night out !) . Rooms cleaned every other day and are fine. Nikos and family do all that is needed to make a great stay . We went in middle - end of July for 18 nights , so was busier than usual , and if everyone wants to go to the pool , its a little crowded...but that only happened a couple of times. Beers = three Euros....you can find cheaper .

We had the most relaxing and fantastic holiday here in 2012, met lovely people and Nicos the owner couldn't be more friendly and helpful.We were also lucky to meet Dave And Jean who have been coming here for many many years and were a great source of information and the most lovely couple that you could wish to meet on holiday.Would love to visit again, enough said.
