Back in Crete we returned to the Megaron for one night after an evening arrival in Heraklion. 10 minutes from the airport , free parking. Room on the 5th floor , beautiful view of the fort and the port, comfortable , impeccable cleanliness. Breakfast really 5 stars, nice terrace also for dinner Attentive and friendly staff

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. The room was really nice, spotlessly clean and the service of the staff was outstanding. They were all friendly and nothing was a bother. The room included breakfast which was great. Location was 5 minutes walk to town and a 5 minute walk from the port. Would absolutely stay here again without hesitations.

This was a great experience and a wonderful start of my tour of Greece. The food was excellent. You could not ask for a better staff of people. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating. The location is by the pier so moving to the next island was very easy.

We just spent 21 days in Croatia and Greece and the Megaron is one of our favorite hotels that we have ever stayed in. Located within walking distance of plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and the port, this luxury hotel has a great staff and beautiful rooms. We would absolutely stay here again. We loved it!

it is an amazing place for a business or vacation stay. Near the city center but still at the coast in a privileged location. Great View, great rooms, and a Cretan and friendly service with a breakfast that you will never forget. Don’t miss a diner on the roof restaurant with the harbor and city view.

È un albergo che si trova al centro della città, dentro e molto bello e elegante, staff e molto cortese e disponibile, purtroppo non abbiamo provato la colazione che parlano tutti perché siamo rimasti solo per un giorno, la camera era molto pulita e le finestre sono doppie e non si sente niente da fuori, dispone parcheggio compreso sul prezzo ma con posti limitati

Excellent hotel for business or holiday. Elegant character building which has been modernised. Comfortable clean rooms with large bathrooms. Roof top swimming pool and fabulous view of the port and Venetian fort. The breakfast buffet was astounding and included a large table groaning with cakes and biscuits. I counted 7 different cakes for breakfast. Highly recommend

πολυ κλασατο και ωραιο ξενοδοχειο. Ταε εχει ολα. Καλο σερβις απο τους υπαλληλους , ωραια δωματια και πολυ ωραιο μπουφε - πρωινο. Σας το συστηνω χωρις φοβο. Εμεινα πολυ ευχαριστημενος. εκει θα ξαναπαω εαν χρειαστει. Πληρωνεις λιγο παραπανω αλλα το αξιζει.

We were booked into the Megaron on our stop over to the Middle East, The staff and their attention to detail was 1st class, I was given a room on the 4th floor WOW it was like a mini suite, there is nothing I can mark them or the hotel down on .......... 5 starts all round

My room was beautifully done and immaculate. The breakfast was possibly the best breakfast buffet I've experienced. The gym was small but in perfect order. The restaurant on the top floor served good food and had exceptional views. As others have said, this is a central location to transportation including the bus station and ferries.
