Stayed here for 2 weeks (7/6/16 - 21/6/16) and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Elounda Beautiful view from the apartment I stayed in nice walking distance to the town and plenty to explore. A Greek night every Saturday well worth a visit highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

These apartments are basic, yes, but spotlessly clean and well serviced with a wonderful, friendly staff. The shared bar (with Sunrise next door) workes well and increases the number of lovely people just waiting to help with anything. There is a 'Greek night' barbecue every Saturday evening and boat trips leave on most days from five yards away, across the seafront road. Excellent access to Elounda centre (5 min walk, 10 min stroll) makes this a really great location.

Agree wth all previous reviews, lovely setting and views, staff very friendly, plenty of tavernas to eat in, all within easy walking distance, and onl y 10 minutes to the town centre, will definitely be returning

Everything worth saying has been said. I can only agree with the people who believe Hiona provides the holiday maker with a dream holiday. So good we shall return. The rooms are clean. The mid day menus, mouth watering. The sun beds comfortable. Most of all. One is made to feel so very, very welcome.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome.It's a real genuine family run block whom make you feel your part of their circle.All the staff are great and brilliant with kids, especially the cleaning lady, so genuinely friendly.Really quiet and relaxing watching the sea turtles whilst having a cold beer , just awesome. Visited in June as returners (most of the clients are) Nothing has changed which is excellent. Even if it is your first time at the Hiona you will feel like friends rather than just customers. The staff go out of their way to ensure you have a great time. The location is outstanding. Very near to a small beach, overlooking the sea but close to everything Elounda has to offer. Only one problem, you need to book early because the Hiona is very popular.

Just returned from 2 weeks in Hiona apartments in beautiful Elounda, fantastic location overlooking Spingalonga! Must visit! Sort walk to the Harbour fractional Cretan restaurants all overlooking the sea! Bars shops etc! Catch the happy train to Plaka and up in the mountains! Fantastic photos! Special thanks to Manos Eleni, Tina and Eri at the apartments do fantastic job,everyone so friendly! good times at the bar! Met some Fab people, made some good friends! Thanks to everyone! Yamas!!

We stopped at the Hiona Apartments in September / October 2012 & what a great time we had. The apartments are in a fantastic location & we had room 5, witch must be the best room we have ever had over looking the sea. The staff were all brilliant ( Tina & Eri made our holiday). We will definitely be going back as soon a possible.
