A short walk, 5 minutes, from port. In a quiet location but only a few steps away from shops & tavernas etc. Close to bus stop. A friendly welcome from Lyn when we arrived at this beachfront hotel which serves a buffet style breakfast and has its own restaurant on its terrace. Breakfast was typical Greek style, well presented and plenty of it with tables inside or outside. Rooms cleaned daily with fridge provided as well as air conditioning. A lovely hotel which we would readily return to.

Voici un hôtel simple mais confortable, très bien situé, à 3 mn de la ville et 5 mn de l’embarcadère. Tenu par une famille depuis les années 80, la patronne serait arrivée d’Australie, et aurait épousé un insulaire. Ce dernier tient le petit restaurant de l’hôtel. Certaines chambres (peu nombreuses) ont vue sur la mer et la plage située à 50m. Une très bonne adresse où l’on fait « bon accueil ».

I cannot rave enough about Hotel Boulis. It has a perfect location which backs onto the beach of Kamares, and is a very short walk from the town, the port and the bus stop. The staff and owners are very kind, welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a lovely courtyard area that has a fantastic restaurant, Kafenes, that serves delicious authentic Sifnian and Greek food. Hotel Boulis is perfect for anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay by the beach.

Excellent quality price ratio, position, breakfast, quite, kindness. Boules allowed an early morning swimming before breakfast which is a great start of the day in Sifnos. Also included a taverna which I have never tried as I fell in love with Captain Andreas taverna few meters far from the hotel

Kafene's restaurant was simply superb, local produce that arrived daily (mostly their own). You must try the fried Sifnos goat's cheese dish (entree), simply magnificent. A great variety of mains. We ate every night there. Hosts are a lovely couple, he Greek, she Aussie, so no language issue. Nothing too much effort for them. Probably 300 metres from the port, an easy walk with trolley bags. Beach is almost at the door. Typical of the Aegean, beautiful clear water.
