We hoped to catch the sunset from Kastro, but was told reservations had been made 3 months in advance. We were early so we ate a late lunch and enjoyed a carafe of wine. We asked our waiter he thought we could find a good place to veiw the sunset since we could not from there. He lead us to a nearby staircase and set us down. We had a perfect view and a lovely evening. A great place with kind help.

The restaurant was recommended to us because of the sunset view in one of the busier places of Oia. It was great to book it in advance, as our table had a great location. Despite the crowd and the busy dinner time, the staff was very attentive and kind and it is possible to take amazing pictures of the sunset and landscape. We definitely suggest Kastro Oia as one of the best places to enjoy a romantic dinner with your significant other or for celebrating with family and friends!

A vista do restaurante é espetacular, a carne dali é uma das melhores que já comi. É uma pena que não tenhamos ficado para o pôr do sol, mas vale muito a pena.

We booked a table at short notice at this restaurant - a gem! After taking some photos of the sun going down at the castle, this restaurant is just below the castle overlooking the sunset. Perfect spot. We also had the best meal we had had in Santorini. The steak was medium rare as we requested, seafood pasta extremely flavoursome and scrumptious bruschetta. Excellent service to top it off. Lovely end to our stay - thank you kastro!
