Hidden gem off the beaten track, if you want a traditional Greek taverna you won't find anywhere better, the best meal we have had on our holiday and the cheapest as well. Although this taverna is out the way don't worry, they will pick you up if you are staying in alykes or alykanas

We were picked up from our hotel by the restaurant & dropped back home after dinner free of charge.The staff food & cocktails were amazing the food was wonderful with large portions,the best meal we had on our hols & totally enjoy the atmosphere of the Lemon tree.The price was very good & we went back a couple of days later it was that good.

I loved every thing,the staff were to perfection All our needs catered for,everyone was so polite and welcoming and my wife loved the atmosphere the food was so fresh and prepared to a good standard made the other restaurants look and feel so bland and a free taxi to take us back to our hotel what more could you want.I would like to thank all the staff for a fantastic evening.

This was a favourite evening for us during our stay. We got a horse and carriage up (don't walk it feels like miles away in the heat). Very atmospheric and lovely scenery. Fish was fresh and the steak was good. Plus free lift back down to town! Lovely evening!

My favourite taverna which is set in old Alykanas. A gentle walk from the main strip but you can always get a horse and cart ride there, and also there is a free taxi service to take you home. Food is first class at very reasonable prices and their greek night is one of the best I have been to. This place is well worth going off the main strip to visit.

Ate here once out of our two week stay ,Nice horse and cart trip to get to Resturant ,Starter we had prawn cocktail ,I Had the Lamb Kelfitco,my fiancée had Lemon chicken ,For sweet we shared a very large apple pie and cream ,Drinks we had a bottle of medium white wine ,The cost for all this was €22 well worth it ,Would eat again at this lovley Resturant .

For a different night out get a horse and carriage upto the Lemon Tree Taverna in Alikanas, its worth the short ride and not to expensive for the ride, The food is typically greek and cook to perfection The restaurant is in a very nice location in the hills. A cardigan is recommended for cooler nights

The Lemon Tree was a 5 minute walk from our apartment so we used it a few times. The staff were very welcoming and remember when you go back, free wine at end of meal on 2nd visit and free starter on 3rd!! The setting is lovely under the lemon trees and the food is yummy and reasonably priced (try the fruit and ice cream for dessert!!).

Ci siamo sempre passati davanti ma non ci siamo mai fermati a cena. Ieri sera abbiamo deciso di fermarci e mai decisione fu piu' saggia. Un dentice per due ai ferri IMPERIALE ... una squisitezza unica ... tanto buono che ci siamo leccati perfino le punte delle orecchie! Sicuramente torneremo.Seguiteci: il proseguo alla prossima puntata. Dimenticavamo ... prezzo onestiss...ssimo.
