If you are in or near Agios Ioannis on Lefkada then go here. The fresh fish is superb, there is also a good selection of other dishes but try the fresh fish it is grilled to perfection and is served on the bone. The exception fish is the snud nosed( suspect it is a relative of red mullet) which is a serving of whole smaller fish deep fried in a very light batter. Very friendly and very reasonable prices

We ate here three times during our weeks holiday. It wasn't the best meal we had during the week (that was at 12 gods Savorta, but not local!), but it was still very good with fresh fish on offer and local cuisine. Very helpful friendly staff. Complimentary desert, which was nice. Atmosphere was great, lots of locals seem to eat there.Please be kind to the cats.The sunsets are amazing.

We eat here each year we visit and the staff is amazing!! The food is delicious, we've tried almoat everything on the menu, go for all! Our favourites are the fried zucchini and the spicy cheese cream, and the tuna steak and the pork steak and and and ... Love them!

Taverna is on Agios Ioannis beach ,one of two, so it's maybe not on everybody's way ,but it' s wort visit it! There I ate the most beautiful steamed mussels ever ,sardines - fantastic,fresh bread,big and tasty greek salad,drank great home wine.Everything on very affordable prices.Service was quick and professional. Atmosphere is relaxing .

Ολα ειναι υπέροχα σε αυτό το όμορφο εστιατόριο το φαγητό ,είτε εινα ψητά είτε μαγειρευτά είτε θαλασσινά ολα ειναι τέλεια .Με τρομερή καθαριότητα άψογο σέρβις και ειναι δίπλα στην θάλασσα !Σας το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλαχτα !!!

This tavern is maybe not the best place to sit, but the food is really good. There are a lot of starters and the Mousakas was the very best I ever had in an restaurant. And even if we are Germans, we know a lot about Greek food…Beside the taste of the food: even in high season, the prices are very low… (50 € for 4 people).You may find the tavern near to the end of the street towards Agios Ioannis.
