Another wonderful holiday at these lovely studios the welcome from Rita and Effie is so lovely, nothing is to much trouble, the rooms are clean and comfortable and fabulous pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Near to the Main Street but far enough not to be bothered by noise can’t wait to come back next year

Great position, 2 minutes walk from main street and all amenities, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Facilities perfect, great pool and pool bar. Room with a view of the pool from the balcony, cleaned every day. Optional AC if required.All Ii all, very good, and worth a return visit.

A fantastic family run apartments with pool. Rooms are spotless and cleaned every day. The pool bar serves drinks and snacks all day long, and is run by the amazing Effi and her lovely mum. The pool always has sunbeds available and the pool is again spotlessly clean.Set in a quiet area of Skala but only a few minutes stroll from the taverna's and restaurants.Highly recommended for a chilled out holiday in Kefalonia.

Spotlessly clean, such friendly owners and a little piece of paradise. Our seventh visit there and will not be our last! So close to the Main Street but feels so quiet during the day when relaxing around the pool. Wonderful food offered and rooms cleaned daily. Highly recommend a visit! Thanks again for a fabulous stay.

Just stayed here for 2 weeks and has been fabulous! Effie and her mum are excellent hostesses - friendly, helpful and absolutely lovely, nothing is ever too much trouble. I stayed in room 6, which was first room on ground floor of main block. Was lovely sized room with v large terrace. Kitchen was basic, but had everything I needed. Shower was a good size and always plenty of hot water. Bed was lovely and comfy & room was spotlessly ckean!Will definitely be back next year!

Great location . Very clean . Helpful staff . Great pool area . Skala is a traditonal resort and well worth a second visit ..... dont forget to say hello to the lovely lady on the way . The beach is a short walk away and not busy in May . Give Makis a try .. of course it has negatives but for the price we paid well worth a try ... ps Thompson flight . Did anyone pick an illness up on the plane ..we were both ill a couple of days after ...

Just returned from two fantastic weeks at the Makis Studios , the location was perfect nice and quiet and only a five minute walk to all the shops and resturants. The maid service was excellant and the owners and bar staff were great would recommend this for couples who want a laid back holiday we'll be back . Jim and Alison cobb

We had a wonderful time here,really looked after by Maria,Holly the rep and everyone else.The best budget accommodation we have ever had.Very clean,very efficient and even though I had an accident in Skala it was still a great holiday. Can't wait to return next year.
