My family and I had the most incredible meal here tonight. Service was fantastic, food was delicious, so glad we were able to visit. Totally recommend to anyone, every dish was amazing.

Best food we’ve had all week (and one of the cheapest). The Mousakka was just to die for. Slightly off the seafront but is in a pretty setting and you can still see the sea.

Ate lunch here on our visit to plaka. The restaurant is away from the harbour so no views but much better better value.A great welcome with Great Service. It is definitely worth visiting, Best Sardines I have had,

Marias is a really nice taverna in cosy Plaka. The taverna had nice details and good service. The saganaki cheese was really good!Recommend this place if you pass by Plaka.

We visit this restaurant for a launch. This is family run taverna. We wish to eat a shrimp saganaki and they prepare it for us even if they don’t have it on menu and it was fabulous. Everting else was also very good. We definitely recommend to visit this place.

Visit Plaka annually and always head for Maria's. This is an authentic taverna unlike the other pushy fish retaurants (excellent fish is available if you want it). There is a wide selection of home cooked Greek and Cretan dishes all served by frendly non pushy staff. Excellent!

After a wander around Spinalonga we were looking for something to eat, fell across Maria's taverna and so glad we did. The staff were friendly and helpful, the taverna is lovely and the food is wonderful and good value. Well worth a visit.

Conseillé par le guide du routard, ne faillit pas à sa renommée.Dommage que la vue sur Spinalonga soit occultée par une affreuse bâtisse en béton.Maria et sa cuisine méritent vraiment le détour.
