We spent 4 nights here whilst touring crete. Everything about this place is wonderful, really friendly and helpful staff, stunning views and gorgeous accommodation. We are animal lovers so the friendly cats here helped complete our stay. We hope to return.

Everything was perfect. Location, situated in the countryside with a phantastic view to the mountains, but still very close to the beach; the relaxing and quiet ambience. The room was clean and spacious (is even nicer than in the photos), all facilities working well, wifi worked stable and the staff (Katerina and George) was lovely. Small presents were very pleasant.

Prachtig gelegen guesthouse te Moni in een absoluut overweldigend decor van de bergen rondom. Geen ontbijt voorzien, maar je kan voor alle inkopen en restaurants terecht in het 4 km verder gelegen Sougia. Aan te bevelen. Wij hadden kamer nr 4. Geen bubbelbad, maar wel het terras met het mooiste uitzicht.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au monastery estate. L’appartement est superbe et très spacieux. Un petite terrasse ombragée vous permet de prendre un succulent petit déjeuner. Une grande terrasse au soleil avec une vue sur la montagne vous permet de vous reposer. L’endroit est idéal pour découvrir les superbes gorges de Agia Irini et Sougia et la superbe randonnée vers Lissos. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Constantina et sa jeune collègue Georgia.

If you search a peaceful, quiet place, you are right. The appartements are really tastefully furnished, it's a very intimate athmosphere, you have lots of space. We had a very warm and nice welcome, little surprises every day and everything was cleaned everyday as well. Sougia is 4 km away, so you will need a car. There are some nice tavernas.You have a great look at the mountains. There you can find lots of hiking-tours.

Tout simplement fabuleux, ces deux jours dans un cadre très bien agencé au calme. A deux pas de Sougia pour les plagistes et un très bon point de départ pour les gorges pour les randonneurs .L’accueil n’est pas en reste merci encore à Katerina aux petits soins et pleine de petites attentions, en anglais bien sûr. Donc si vous êtes motorisé c’est un très bon point de chute, l’appartement est tout équipé et très joliment décoré.

The best place on earth is Moni and Monastery Estate. Where the Cretan hospitality meets the luxury and nature. It is a unique guesthouse, with excellent facilities and amazing people. You want to stay for ever at that place...
