One of the nicest museums I've visited. It was an honor to be in this space. The 2 hours I stayed there was not enough for me and I will visit him again for sure.

Ce tombeau retrouvé en 1977 est exceptionnel. il s'git des tombes inviolés du père et du fils d'Alexandre le grand, et il est admirablement mis en valeur.On peut voir les tombeaux de l extérieur et ce que l'on a retrouvé est mis en valeur dans des vitrines.C'est magnifique..Mais venir avant le groupe vers 8h00 ou après 18 h.

The museum is spectaculalrly done, built around the royal tombs, with beautifully aranged exhibition. The hike up the hill to the palace site is a nice addition to the outing.

Museum is very well laid out, with amazing displays. Contains contents from Phillip II's tomb (Alexander the Great's father) and another tomb called Royal Prince tomb. Not to be missed!

What a wonderful museum and site. WE were seazed by thé ancient graves and the beautifull artefacts collection!

Προσωπικά ενθουσιάστηκα το σύγχρονο μουσείο το οποίο σου επιτρέπει χωρίς καμία ταλαιπωρία να επισκεφτείς τους βασιλικούς τάφους, τα ευρήματα τους με στενή επαφή με τη ιστορία.

We made a special trip to see this museum. Well worth it. Wonderful exhibits of the extraordinary grave goods they found. A very revealing snapshot of royal court life and intrigues from the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. No photography allowed. The palace ruins area nearby were not yet opened when we visited but should be by August 2016.

Dit moderne museum toont de tombes van Philips II en de zoon van Alexander de Grote. Mooie frescos op de tombes, daar waar de fronton is. De goudschatten zijn overweldigend!

An unique experience to visit Vergina's tombs! You'll be astonished visiting this site. And the museum itself is one of a kind! Don't miss the documentary about the experience of death! You can't see this movie elsewhere (unfortunately).A must see!And once being there you'll come again, for sure!

Bellissimo museo, emozionanti le tombe....che sono state scoperte solo nel1974! Se ci si trova a Salonicco e si visita il museo archeologico, la visita di queste tombe e' il necessario completamento.
