we have just returned from a wonderful 5 day stay and can only highly recommend . Lisa and all her staff made you feel part of the family but in a caring , unobtrusive manner. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and the pool area with stunning views a mini- paradise ! We look forward to being able to return !

Wij komen hier al een aantal jaar omdat het een geweldig hotel is. De kamers zijn ruim, proper en voorzien van alles. De eigenaars zijn super vriendelijke mensen die heel erg bezig zijn met hun gasten. Het hotel is een ideale uitvalsbasis als je Kreta wilt ontdekken maar ook in de buurt van Chania wilt zitten (met de bus een kwartiertje). En als kers op de taart is er dat geweldig uitzicht op de bergen aan de ene kant en de zee aan de andere kant!

New Kydonia is an excellent place to relax. The swimming pool is fabulous and the studios are clean and well maintained. Lisa and her family are very friendly and helpful. Supermarket about a 5 minute walk away. Taxi from airport 30 euros each way. Bus every hour from the square into Chania takes about 30 minutes. Loved Crete will be back.

The site is fabulous, lovely gardens, a beautiful pool, very helpful hosts, a good restaraunt, lovely views........being near the square in Daratsos where there is a good taverna and also an hourly bus into Chania. The attractive beaches are just over a mile away, also lots of shops and restaraunts are a bit closer. But the site itself is really tranquil making for a relaxing holiday.

Wij waren daar met een groep vrienden en we vonden er een ideale combinatie tussen rust, cultuur en activiteit. Een fantastisch hotel dat uitgebaat wordt door vriendelijke gastvrije mensen die je met veel plezier met raad en daad bijstaan. Mij volgende bezoek aan kreta kom ik terug naar hier.

nous allons en famille a daratsos depuis l ouverture de cet hotel et jamais nous n avons ete decus; il n y a pas mieux comme vacances calmes sympathiques douces ensoleillees culturelles et....surtout conviviales et amicales; bref tout est bien et bon et Lisa Dimitri Vanessa et co sont extraordinaires; il ne faut jamais hesiter a partir se reposer a daratsos!!!! We were very lucky to book a room at this hotel. The hotel is quite small and is a family business. It is located on a hill so you get great views and it is very quiet. The bar and restaurant are fairly priced and the dishes are great. We were suprised from the room amenities - especially by the kitchen which was very useful.

Stunning location, excellent rooms, and terrific pool, only outshone themselves by the welcome provided by Lisa, Dimitris, Mo, Terry and Vanessa. A great family hotel to take the family to. And Claudia is the kitchen deserves a special mention -- excellent food.
