This has been our best dinner in Astylapia. We had the best mushroom spaghetti, we have ever tasted. The grilled vegetables were also exceptional. The owner’s is very welcoming and honestly friendly with every guest, she even gave us free desserts. The price is very reasonable too.

This is the 2nd time I’m visiting Astepalaya with friends. We returned to Safran which we new from our previous visit last year. The food is great and so is the hospitality. I especially liked the fish and of course the wonderful home made deasert. If you are in Astepalaya don’t miss this restaurant We definitely will come again

Un petit restaurant en centre ville avec une belle vue sur la mer et le château qui vous sert une excellente cuisine créative avec des produits du terroir bien frais. Ici ni micro onde ni friteuse, mais une cuisine saine. Bon accueil et bon rapport qualité prix

We have had lunch twice now here, and the food is wonderful. Yesterday we both had a seafood salad - served on slate platters - lettuce, octopus, shrimp, calamari, fish - so fresh and delicous. Perfect dressing. Really one of the best meals we've had in Greece. (Mind we were starving). Today we had a devine meal with a lovely tomato salad with local cheese, and the octopus balls and squid. All really lovely and the proprietoress gives you fruit from her garden afterwards.

Had coffee and cake at Safran. Cakes are freshly made and todays cake was Black Forest cake. Lovely and light and full of delicious fresh cherries. Frappe coffee was just how I like it. Great service too.

Top,sehr leckeres Essen, besonders gut war der ( habe den gleich an 3 Tagen genossen) Meeresfrüchtesalat ... Freundliche u fixe Bedienung. Die Chefin Betty ist sehr kompetent und eine exzellente Köchin, die Lage direkt am Hafen passt.
