A very warm welcome awaited us on arrival to the apartments, by Makis, the owner . A fantastic meal was provided even though we did not arrive till after 10pm. The apartment we stayed in had a beautiful sea view and large balcony. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard, towels and sheets changed. The authentic Greek food in the restaurant was gorgeous and the staff made every effort to accommodate the needs of our two year old boy.

Great hotel with super friendly staff, clean, cheap, great location. You will not be disappointed. We had a room on the second floor with great sea views over the beach. Fabulous tasty food will a great local cooking.

Vi har boet på Sunlight 4 gange. Det er altid en fornøjelse at vende tilbage. Hotellet ligger 10 meter fra stranden og helt centralt i byen. Ydermere har de et fantastisk køkken, så snyd ikke dig selv for morgenmaden. Det er billigt og balkonerne er meget varme om morgenen, så det er bedre at spise i restauranten. Værelserne er enkle - indrettet i græsk stil og med ok senge. Der er altid meget rent.

Vorab: Wir lieben Kreta und waren schon mehrmals da. Wir hatten vor ein paar Jahren die Taverne entdeckt, haben da schon oft gegessen und uns gleich mal die Hotelzimmer zeigen lassen. Sie gefielen uns ausnehmend gut, Sterne sind uns da egal. Der Preis stimmt, die Familie der Inhaber supernett, das Essen hervorragend...was will man mehr. Die Lage des Hotels könnte nicht besser sein, wir jedenfalls haben gleich wieder gebucht ;).

Lovely clean apartments. Very nice owner, would stay there again. Beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. Great location! Beach across the small road from the apartments. Views of the mountains to the other side too. 5 minutes walk to the main village, with all it's lovely taverna's, shops and lovely old streets. Spotless apartments with a kettle, fridge and cooking facilities if required. The apartments have a lovely restaurant too.

Spacious apartments on the beach. Friendly and attentive staff. Our apartment was clean with his own balcony, basic kitchenette to prepare easy meals. There is next to the apartments a sew view Tavern offering good meals. The advantage is the sandy beach with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas.The only complain is that we didn't found shampoo and shower gel. They offer just a small soap for a couple of quests.

Excellent! Couldn't fault the accommodation. Owners very friendly and helpful. Food of excellent quality. Right facing the glorious beach on the edge of town so not noisy. Recommend these apartments to anyone and hopefully will return in the future

Excellent value for money . The hotel is located in front of the sea with a magical view on the balcony face to the sea. Studio with 2 beds, one table, small kitchen space and a bathroom with shower. Simple decor very clean. Wifi access ok. Lots of restaurants around + at 2 minutes of city center with shops, supermarkets, bakery. The staff is very kind.
