Let’s be real, the food in Plakias has been too heavily influenced by the clientele that it serves. Most places are serving food that’s not up to the standard of many other places on the island. But not here! Dishes here are quite good and very satisfying, and the staff is also very friendly. The baked eggplant was delicious, the giant beans were creamy and made with fresh veg, and even the raki was extra smooth. Go here for awesome food in Plakias!

My parents and I discovered this place by chance. We were walking to the car when we passed by, we saw a table of four people eating sea food. The plates looked so nice. So we decided try. The staff is super nice, friendly. The food is great! We came back 3 or 4 times I think to try more. And everything is good. I especially loved the octopus. I honestly never had such a perfectly cooked octopus. I highly recommend this place.

This seems to be a more casual style taverna. We went on a crowded night and the portions are large enough that one woman ate the snail appetizer as her whole meal, and I saw another woman order what looked like lasagna and the piece was bigger than her head! This was the first place that served honey raki after the meal, which I much prefer over plain raki.

Locale si trova in un vicolo vicino al lungomare. Semplice, senza fronzoli ma accogliente. Il personale gentile e simpatico, il cservizio veloce. Piatti locali con ingredienti freschi, pesce buonissimo. I prezzi ottimi. Provatelo!
