Irene Taverna is a very nice restaurant where you can spend a wunderful time with family or friends, you will meet the most frindly and happy host that will get you the table very quickly.They have nice Greek food and others and very nice deserte. In the end you will get a special drink!

We zaten niet ver van deze Taverna en hebben hier regelmatig gegeten. De eigenaresse komt bij aankomst vrijwel direct aan je tafel zitten om je bestelling op te nemen, hoewel niet gewend had het wel iets persoonlijks en leuks. Het eten was er altijd goed en lekker, vooral de stoofpotten zijn echte aanraders. De prijs is goed en de bediening vriendelijk. Er zijn vrij veel katten, maar waar niet op Kreta. Wij zouden deze locatie zeker aanraden voor een goede traditionele maaltijd.

Excellent on all accounts. We have been here literally a hundred times on our many visits to Akrotiri. The warmth of the welcome like the Cretan sun. Everything is good but the pastichio is amazing along with anything from the charcoal grill. Irene is like our Greek grandma.

Joli petit restaurant typique très apprécié des Crétois. Bondé et sans réservation, le personnel souriant et très gentil nous installe rapidement une table. Nous avons très très bien mangé, plats copieux, service rapide et petite gourmandise offerte en fin de repas avec l'incontournable Raki. Serveurs vraiment très aimables et disponibles. Très agréable moment et rapport qualité-prix incontestable.
