We loved Taverna Ilias amazing food cooked by mom and hospitality from the lovely owners ! We had fish Greek salad chicken in lemon sauce everything so delicious and the small starter & desert which came with every meal was so tasty especially the cheese honey & nut pie ! Definitely our favourite place to eat so far - we overstayed an extra night too ambiance & location stunning too

A terrace quiet and simple, overlooking the wonderful waters of Palionis! The people of the kitchen and the service smiling and welcoming. They welcomed us with a meadows and also gave us fresh figs! Everything we ate was delicious but I will stand in the traditional Mermigelli salad with local cheese, the goat that melted in the mouth, the octopus and the maridaki. If you are in Paleo Island for a bath, eat at the tavern of Ilias.

Taverna con servizio e cibo tipico buonissimo la signora Vasiliky è stata molto professionale e accogliente, ritengo una delle migliori ttaverne in kalimnos

Trotz geringer Gästezahl ( Corona-bedingt) reichhaltige Auswahl, auf unseren am Nachmittag geäußerten Wunsch wurde uns ( 2 Personen) für das Abendessen der Oktopussalat ( sehr gut) extra zubereitet.Weitere leckere Vorspeisen . Sehr schöner Ausblick auf die Bucht.

You could not enjoy better Greek food in more pleasant surroundings; simple and authentic, and so very friendly and accommodating! We were traveling with a vegan and they went out of their way to cook for her, really unusual. They picked us up from our sailing boat with their small boat, a real bonus. The owners are exceptionally nice people and this really "makes" the place - added to the very good food and service - overall a great place to dine.

Tutto eccellente. Un posto unico al mondo. Baia meravigliosa, cucina casalinga e vista mozzafiato. Pesce freschissimo da scegliere direttamente in cucina insieme ai proprietari, come a casa. Anche il servizio tender offerto dalla Taverna è puntuale. Prezzi ottimi.

Beautiful welcoming people, great food, fantastic atmosphere... don't miss it. Very helpful when mooring a boat at strong meltemi. Has dock for dinghy.
