Wendi and I ate there most nights while on holiday in Elounda. The food was fantastic with brilliant service by all the staff , could not fault anything. See you all next year.

Great staff and food. When we arrived everyone was very welcoming and wanting to make your experience there a really good one. Only been to Crete once and dined here most of the week that I stopped here and will definitely go back there again excellent staff and amazing food.

First night meal with friends who moved to Elounda last year. Lovely atmosphere. Great location. One of the best moussaka s I ve ever had. Reasonable prices.

We asked a local taxi driver where he ate, and he recommended this taverna We were not disappointed and had an excellent meal with very friendly service. It has been run by several members of the same family for many years and they are proud of the food and service they offer; justifiably so.

We visited this restaurant 4 times during our visit to Elounda. The welcome we received was fantastic, the food was superb and we would highly recommend it. A number of people who were in the restaurant had obviously been there before, some over a number of years. This is always a good sign. Would certainly visit again if we returned to Elounda.

This was the restaurant we chose to visit the most during our two week stay in Elounda. The food was always beautifully fresh and authentic. The different generations of the family running Vachus always made us feel welcome and valued. At lunchtime it provides a calm respite from the beach and in the evening has a vibrant buzz. Good house wine too!

Freundliches, deutschsprachiges Person. Ambiente eher schlicht-rustikal, dennoch ansprechend.Die gegrillte Dorade (500g) war ein Traum! Sehr gute Qualität und nicht zu fettig zubereitet. Dazu gab es griechischen Salat und Kartoffeln für insgesamt 16.90€.Wartezeit in Ordnung. Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

This is still the perfect family run Taverna that is has always been.However this year had some lovely new dishes on the menu.Really spoilt for choice.We are vegetarian but didn't have any problems finding different things to eat every night. Can't really say any more,except "love you, and see you next year guys xx".
